1. Read the card
Each card has a Dutch noun, its English translation, and the current level. Decide whether the noun uses de or het.
2. Answer by tap or swipe
Tap de or het, or swipe the card left for de and right for het. You get feedback immediately and the next word appears automatically.
3. Build your progress
Correct answers build your streak. The level picker shows your best streak for each level and its completion target. Progress is stored locally in your browser.
4. Choose a level
Start at A1, then select A1+, A2, A2+, B1, B1+, B2, or B2+ from the level picker. The B-levels are part of the optional €1 unlock.
5. Make it yours
Use the Themes button to choose a visual style. The default and Sunset Boulevard themes are free; all themes are included with the optional unlock. You can also switch sound on or off from the menu.
